Ceramic Electromagnetic Flowmeters: Impact on Measuring Media with Solid Particles

图片
In industrial applications, ceramic electromagnetic flowmeters are often used to measure the flow of various media. However, when it comes to measuring media containing solid particles, several factors come into play.   Impact on Measurement Accuracy   1. Deterioration of accuracy due to wear: Solid particles flowing in the fluid constantly impact the ceramic lining and electrodes of the flowmeter. Over time, the ceramic lining may wear down, altering the internal geometry of the flowmeter and thus affecting the distribution of the magnetic field and the generation of induced electromotive force. This leads to a decrease in measurement accuracy. Additionally, the electrodes may also be damaged by the impact of solid particles, affecting signal reception and transmission and further reducing measurement accuracy. Keywords: ceramic electromagnetic flowmeter, solid particles, measurement accuracy, wear of lining and electrodes. 2. Unstable measurement due to uneven particle...
