what should we do when the electromagnetic flowmeter measures bubbles in the liquid?

https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7221377340126248960In industrial production and fluid measurement, electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used due to their high precision, high stability and wide applicability. However, in the actual measurement process, if there are bubbles in the measuring medium, it may cause large errors in the measurement results and even affect the normal operation of the flowmeter. So, what should we do when the electromagnetic flowmeter measures bubbles in the liquid?

Cause analysis:
If it is determined that the bubble problem is caused by the installation position, you can consider changing the installation position, such as installing the flowmeter at the low point of the pipeline, or using a U-tube design to exclude gas.

Treatment method:
For air inhaled from the outside, you can check whether the system is sealed and install an exhaust device.

Installation requirements:
Daily maintenance is also very important, such as regularly checking the environment around the instrument, cleaning dust, and checking and removing dirt and sediment in the sensor to keep the flowmeter operating normally.
Make sure there is enough straight pipe section length upstream of the flowmeter (at least 5 times the pipe diameter) and enough straight pipe section length downstream (at least 2 times the pipe diameter) to reduce the impact of bubbles on the measurement.

Medium requirements:
Make sure the measuring tube is completely filled with the measured medium without bubbles to ensure that the electrode can be completely immersed in the medium.

Environmental requirements:
Avoid installing the electromagnetic flowmeter in an environment with pipeline stray current interference, space electromagnetic wave interference, and large motor magnetic field interference.
